Vegetable Apple Pie
What you need for one cake:
- 250 grams of flour
- 150 grams of vegetable butter
- 75 grams of sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla-flavored sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon Friendly Vikings oat drink natural
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 kilogram apples, peeled and cut into pieces
- 50 grams of raisins
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 vEGGs 'eggs' (see package for instructions)
Preparation method:

Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the vegetable butter and knead into a dough ball. Add the plant-based milk to make the dough slightly smoother. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Mix the apples, raisins, cornstarch and vEGGs in a bowl.

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface. Grease a pie tin with vegetable butter and line it with the dough. Cut off the overhanging edges.

Pour the apple mixture into the pie tin.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.

Let the cake cool and serve with a scoop of plant-based vanilla ice cream, if desired.
